Initially a songwriter on bass and then guitar, Monowheel soon wanted to exploit his electronic passions. Influences apparent in Monowheel's music include VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Feindflug, early Cure, and New Order. Punchy, synthesized drums graced with animated keyboards provide a structured undercurrent for signature bass lines and catchy vocals. Monowheel is currently solo, although he occasionally enjoys guest collaborations.
Monowheel is 100% independent and writes, records, produces, and self-releases all his own music. Monowheel's only goal is to write memorable songs with a progressive, yet listenable sound. He keeps a Studio LOG documenting many of the technical aspects of music creation. There is also a MUSIC page where one can sample songs and order CDs.
